ORDINANCE NO. 2240 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2238 APPROVING THE PLEASANTON POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT'S MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE POLICY <br /> WHEREAS, On July 19, 2022, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2238 approving <br /> the Pleasanton Police Department's Military Equipment Use Policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the Military Equipment Use Policy to add <br /> a Command Vehicle to the Policy's military equipment inventory. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance No. 2238 is amended to add a Command Vehicle <br /> described in Exhibit "A" to the Military Equipment Use Policy's military equipment inventory. <br /> Section 2. Severability. If any part of this ordinance is declared invalid by a court, <br /> such invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining parts. <br /> Section 3. Publication. This ordinance, or a summary prepared by the City Attorney, <br /> shall be published once in a newspaper of general circulation of the City of Pleasanton within <br /> fifteen days after its adoption. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date.
