The National Electrical Code,2020 Edition, as amended and set forth in the California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 24, Part 3, published by the National Fire Protection Association is hereby <br /> adopted. <br /> B. The National Electrical Code(NEC)adopted in this chapter by reference is amended by the <br /> following additions,deletions and amendments thereto as set forth in this chapter. Reference <br /> numbers herein are taken from the 2022 California Electrical Code. <br /> C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Electrical Code, hereinafter referred to as"this <br /> code." <br /> D. Where there is a reference in the code to the "Building Official" or"Authority Having Jurisdiction" <br /> it shall mean the "Building and Safety Official" or in the absence of the Building and Safety <br /> Official,the interim,temporary or acting Building and Safety Official. <br /> 20.20.020 CEC Section 89.108.4 deleted. <br /> Section 89.108.4 is deleted. <br />
