Mayor Brown noted the time is 11:20 p.m. and inquired with the Council about hearing Item 30. <br /> Councilmember Narum advised she would prefer not to continue. <br /> Item 30 was continued to the next regular meeting. <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL — None. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS: Brief reports on conferences, seminars, and meetings attended by the Council <br /> Councilmember Narum reported Valley Link approved a $22 million budget, mostly for environmental <br /> work. She reported attending the Mayor's Dinner and Fire Academy graduation. <br /> Councilmember Balch reported attending a Waste and Recycling Subcommittee meeting and advised <br /> that StopWaste is hosting a hazardous waste pickup event on Sunday. He commended the Mayor's <br /> Dinner. He reported attending an Innovation Tri-Valley meeting and the Fire Academy graduation. <br /> Councilmember Arkin reported attending a Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) Liaison meeting, <br /> Mayor's Dinner and Fire Academy graduation. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported attending the Fire Academy graduation a Cal Cities East Bay division <br /> meeting, an Alameda County Mosquito Abatement meeting, the Cal Cities City Leaders Summit in the <br /> City of Sacramento, a Cal Cities Women's Caucus meeting, and the Mayor's Dinner. <br /> Mayor Brown reported attending Alameda County Transportation Commission meetings and stated <br /> there will be $38 million distributed to the cities through Measure B and Measure BB Sales Tax <br /> Revenue.
