CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 45 6 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED <br /> AS ANNEXATION NO. 43, ~'JORGENSEN ANNEX' <br /> <br /> The City Council does hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following <br />findings: (a) On March 21, 1966, the Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton did pass and adopt Amended Resolution No. 66-36 giving <br />notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to <br />the City of Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexa- <br />tion No. 43, "Jorgensen Annex", and did describe the boundaries <br />of the territory proposed to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (b) Said Amended Resolution No. 66-36 contained a <br />notice of the time and place for the Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton to hear protests made by any person owning real <br />property within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time <br />of said hearing was not less than fifteen nor more than sixty <br />days from the date of passage of the Amended Resolution. <br /> <br /> (c) On May 9, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the <br />Council Chambers at the Women' s Club Building, Southwest corner <br />of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of Pleasanton, County <br />of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did conduct <br />a public hearing and pass upon protests made, there being none° <br />By Resolution No. 66-65 the City Council determined that protests <br />had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the <br />privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the <br />last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half <br />of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be <br />annexed as determined by said legislative body. <br /> <br /> (d) Said territory is contiguous to the City of <br /> <br />pleasanton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda } <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
