Interim City Manager Dolan reported there has been a lot of investigation into granted <br /> exemptions and the County's fire chiefs have been working on it. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Balch reported attending a StopWaste meeting. He reported AB 1953 has a simple <br /> premise of having bottle refill stations at public facilities but advised StopWaste switched its position <br /> from support to hold because the bill would require water bottle refilling stations at all park entrances <br /> even if the park does not currently have water services. He reported touring DSRSD's new treatment <br /> plant along with Councilmember Testa and staff. He reported participating in a webinar with the <br /> Alameda County Housing Collaborative and attending the State of the City. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported attending the State of the City, the DSRSD tour, a California League of <br /> Cities (Cal Cities) roundtable, and a mosquito abatement meeting. <br /> Councilmember Arkin reported attending the Housing Collaborative webinar, the State of the City, the <br /> Moore Elementary School mural and garden dedication, Youth in Government Day, the Mayor's Report, <br /> a Cal Cities East Bay Division meeting, and PUSD liaison meeting. <br /> Councilmember Narum reported attending a Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority Board meeting <br /> centered on the zero-emissions bus rollout. She advised by 2029 all buses will need to be zero <br /> emissions. She reported attending an East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) meeting and ValleyLink <br /> meeting. <br /> Mayor Brown reported the Tri-Valley Transportation Commission will have a 15% increase in rates to <br /> help fund projects including an 1-580/680 flyover along with the Sunol Boulevard interchange off of I- <br /> 680. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported attending the groundbreaking for the Vineyard 2.0 homeless navigation <br /> center in the City of Livermore.
