Since this meeting, the Agencies developed a
communication plan that included radio ads on KKIQ, print and digital ads in The
Independent, Pleasanton Weekly, and East Bay Times newspapers, a postcard mailed
to all water customers in June, and regular messaging via social media and other
communication platforms. Additional recent efforts include advertising on local Wheels
buses, local movie theater pre-showing video segment, and webinars focused on a
variety of water-efficiency topics.
Staff from the Agencies will continue to collaborate on drought messaging, rebate
programs, and shared conservation efforts.
Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approved by:
6Aervanse..
Tamara Baptista Susan Hsieh Gerry Beaudin
Interim Director of Operations Director of Finance City Manager
and Water Utilities
