Batteries shall be installed in slide an <br /> aluminum compartment. The batteries will be separated from the chassis batteries for auxiliary <br /> equipment (2.2 hours of capacity @ 75-amp discharge rate). Battery data assumes a usable <br /> voltage range of 13.6 to 10.5 volts. <br /> •Two (2) electronic converter/chargers, 60 amp minimum output each. Converter/charger <br /> features: <br /> • Charges three banks of batteries at the same time. <br /> • UL listed for safety. <br /> • Manual reset circuit breaker. <br /> • Reverse battery protection. <br /> • Electronic current limiting. <br /> • High voltage protection. <br /> • 12Vdc auxiliary panels with UL listed magnetic/hydraulic circuit breakers as required. <br /> 12.02 1 Battery combiner automatically combines the battery banks during charging and isolates when <br /> no charging sensed on either bank. A three position control switch allows an operator to <br /> manually combine or separate batteries, to jump start engine or troubleshoot a failure. <br /> 12.03 1 Dual Auxiliary Battery Disconnect System. Enables auxiliary battery disconnect to be activated <br /> from cab or load space area. <br /> 12.04 8 Light, Orion 6" LED, neutral white with polished bezel. <br /> 12.05 5 Light, Orion 6" LED, neutral white/ red with polished bezel. <br /> 12.06 6 Whelen M9LZC Gradient LED Scene Light with chrome flange. <br /> 12.07 1 12VDC dual USB power port. <br /> 12.08 12VDC WIRING REQUIREMENTS: <br /> •2-gauge minimum copper stranded battery cable shall be used for 12Vdc main supply lines. <br /> All cable runs shall be full length, no splices. All cable terminals shall be staked and soldered. <br /> All cable shall be enclosed in convoluted polyethylene tubing and the ends of the cable shall be <br /> sealed with color-coded shrink-wrap identifying the function of the cable. <br /> •All added electrical branch circuits shall be protected from over-current by resettable circuit <br /> breakers appropriately rated for the load.
