CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO o 448 <br /> <br /> DECLARING A PORTION OF SUNOL BOULEVARD <br /> TO BE PART OF THE COUNTY SYSTEM OF <br /> HIGHWAYS <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors, by <br />Resolution No. 116041, adopted March 15, 1966, has declared <br />a 200-foot portion of Sunol Boulevard within the City of <br />Pleasanton to be a County road. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does <br />hereby consent to this action and the included portion of Sunol <br />Boulevard being a part of the County Highway System. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Said portion of highway, required for purposes <br />of reconstructing the Southern Pacific Railroad underpass, is <br />further described as follows: <br /> <br /> All that portion of PLEASANTON-SUNOL ROAD within <br /> the corporate limits of the City of Pleasanton <br /> lying between the easterly line of the Southern <br /> Pacific Company's right of way, being also the <br /> westerly boundary line of the City of Pleasanton, <br /> and a line drawn parallel with said easterly <br /> line and distant easterly 200.00 feet, measured <br /> radially thereto. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council on <br />April 4, 1966. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council on <br /> APRIL 4.~ 1966 , by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN BUBICS, GERTON, HARDING, McWILLIAMS <br /> NOES: NONE <br /> ABSENT ~ MAYOR LONG <br /> <br /> ~-~ -'~0HN B .'
