16 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> hi r.:� ` CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> August 16, 2022 <br /> Library and Recreation Department <br /> TITLE: REVIEW AND DISCUSS CENTURY HOUSE MASTER PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Century House Master Plan was previously discussed at the April 11, 2019, August <br /> 8, 2019, October 10, 2019, June 11, 2020, and July 14, 2022, Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission meetings and a joint City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> workshop on June 21, 2021. Topics at the meetings have included the Century House <br /> building assessment, facility usage and programming, site plan and parking options, and <br /> interior floor plan and renovation options. <br /> City Council is now asked to review the selected site plan option and floor plan option <br /> which was developed based on feedback from the joint City Council and Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission workshop in June 2021. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Review and approve the selected site plan option and floor option as recommended by <br /> the Parks and Recreation Commission and provide direction to staff to draft and bring <br /> forward for consideration a final Century House Master Plan. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> $4.8 million is allocated for the Century House Master Plan and renovation in CIP project <br /> #17753 for the master plan design and construction. Based upon City Council's direction, <br /> staff will seek a consultant for the master plan design and bring that contract forward to <br /> City Council with actual costs for consideration. The same process will be followed for <br /> construction drawings and construction contracts. <br />
