MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Arkin to include Site 29 in the inventory at the recommended
increased density of 45 to 75 units per acre as recommended and as noted. Motion passed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown
Noes: None
Absent: None
Associate Planner Hagen reported with the changes in density she shows a total of 5,040 units which
would be 315 units above the 50% buffer and 1,180 units above the general surplus shortfall. Director
Clark concurred with those numbers and advised it gives the City enough overflow capacity in the
lower-income units to accommodate the above moderate units. She advised this is enough to move
forward with the EIR.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brown adjourned the regular meeting at 11:34 p.m.
Re.pectful y sub itted,
• elyn Kw g
Ci y Clerk
City Council Minutes Page 27 of 27 February 8,2022
