He reiterated being consistent. <br /> In response to Mayor Brown, Director Clark presented the aerial image and advised there are higher <br /> density units to the north and small-lot single-family. Associate Planner Hagen advised the lots are <br /> somewhere between 9 to 11 units per acre at least. <br /> Councilmember Arkin advised she is not opposed to the site but shares Councilmember Balch's earlier <br /> comments that it is not consistent with the area. She inquired if anyone on the dais was interested in <br /> lowering the density. <br /> Councilmember Narum advised she agreed with Councilmember Arkin's comments and recommended <br /> lowering the density to 12 to 18 units per acre. <br /> Councilmember Testa advised she is agreeable to lowering the density. <br /> Councilmember Narum moved to include Site 14 in the inventory at the lower density of 12 to 18 units <br /> per acre. Councilmember Arkin seconded the motion. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Arkin to include Site 14 in the inventory at the lower density of 12 <br /> to 18 units per acre as recommended and as noted. She advised the <br /> development area is 9.77 acres with a recommended density of 8 to 14 units per acre with a capacity of <br /> 108 units. It was recommended by the Planning Commission to include the site in the inventory. <br /> Councilmember Narum advised she has the same challenge with this site as she does with Old Santa <br /> Rita. She advised she will support including the site in the inventory for the EIR. She noted the density <br /> is consistent with the area. <br /> Councilmember Narum moved to include Site 15 in the inventory with the staff recommended density of <br /> 8-14 units per acre.
