Additionally, staff advertised for the community survey and passed out flyers with a link to the <br />survey and an image of the updated conceptual plan. Staff spoke with approximately 30-40 people. <br /> <br />Below is a summary of comments regarding the project. <br /> <br />Design Comments <br />1. Remove the paths between the proposed bandstand and the Firehouse Arts Center so that it is <br />one large lawn/audience area. <br /> <br />2. The main audience area should not have paths, be playable, and inviting. <br />3. Do not reduce the grass area in Delucchi Park! <br />4. Install a bathroom in Lions Wayside Park. The bathroom in Delucchi Park is too far and has <br />insufficient capacity for events in the parks. <br /> <br />5. Relocate or remove the pathways in the large lawn/audience areas to create a contiguous grass <br />area. <br /> <br />6. Specify more permanent trash receptacles. <br />7. Don’t break up the grass area at Delucchi Park. <br />8. Add more picnic tables.
