Ordinance No. 2239 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br />a. Either a minimum of two (2) openings having a total net area of not less than <br />one (1) square inch for every square foot of enclosed area subject to flooding shall be <br />provided. The bottom of all openings shall be no higher than one (1) foot above grade. <br />Openings may be equipped with screens, louvers, valves or other coverings or <br />devices provided that they permit the automatic entry and exit of floodwaters; or <br />b. Be certified to comply with a local floodproofing standard approved by the <br />Federal Insurance Administration. <br />5. Manufactured homes shall also meet the standards in Section 17.08.180. <br /> <br />17.08.180 Standards—Manufactured homes. All new and substantially improved and/or <br />substantially damaged replacement manufactured homes and additions to manufactured homes <br />shall: <br />A. Be elevated so that the lowest floor is at or above one (1) foot higher than the base flood <br />elevation; and <br />B. Be securely anchored to a permanent foundation system to resist flotation, collapse or <br />lateral movement. <br /> <br />18.08.540 Structure, accessory Class I. “Class I accessory structure” means a subordinate <br />structure, the use of which is appropriate, subordinate, and customarily incidental to that of the <br />main structure or the main use of the land, and which is located on the same site with the main <br />structure or use. “Class I accessory structures” shall include those accessory structures <br />designed for possible habitation and include covered patios, garages and carports, any covered <br />or enclosed area with a height greater than six feet orand an area greater than 80 square feet. <br /> <br />18.08.545 Structure, accessory Class II. “Class II accessory structure” means a subordinate <br />structure, the use of which is appropriate, subordinate and customarily incidental to that of the <br />main structure or Class I accessory structure, or the main use of the land, and which is located <br />on the same site with the main structure or use. Class II accessory structures shall include <br />those accessory structures not designed for habitation, and include plant shelters and lathe area <br />and tool storage sheds with a height no greater than six feet orand an area no greater than 80 <br />square feet. <br /> <br />Delete Article III. Conditional Use Permits for Large Family Day Care Homes, §§18.24.330 - <br />18.124.380, inclusive. <br /> <br />//
