While statistical data and operational reports will be provided to the Chief of Police on a monthly basis, <br />information will be presented to council for review during the bi-annual updates. <br />Question #4: <br />How many officers will receive the CATT training? <br />Answer: <br />The police personnel assigned to the Alternate Response to Mental Health will have additional training <br />to support their role within the program. These trainings will include to Basic/Advanced Crisis <br />Intervention, Crisis Negotiations, De-escalation, and Mental Health/First Aid. Police personnel assigned <br />to this program will also attend the 40-hour training Bonita House field clinicians complete upon hiring. <br />Bonita House clinicians hired to work with the Alternate Response to Mental Health program will assist <br />in providing department and city-wide trainings to all staff on topics related to their area of expertise. <br /> <br />
