DocuSign Envelope ID:EAFD369F-DD7D-4A4F-8DCA-34E21C1B8EFB <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE <br /> LIVERMORE-PLEASANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY <br /> AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974 FOR <br /> THE TERM OF JANUARY 1, 2022 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025 <br /> WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire <br /> Department Joint Powers Authority and the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974 <br /> expired on December 31, 2021; and <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from the cities of Pleasanton and Livermore have met and <br /> conferred with representatives of the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974 and <br /> prepared a successor agreement covering the period January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Joint Powers Authority and <br /> the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974 for the term commencing January 1, <br /> 2022 through June 30, 2025. <br /> SECTION 2.
