RESOLUTION NO. 22-1314 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR <br />DISPATCH SERVICES COMMENCING ON JULY 1, 2022 AND ENDING ON JUNE 30, <br />2027 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton entered a five-year agreement from July 1, 2012 to <br />June 30, 2017 with the Alameda County Fire Department utilizing Alameda County Regional <br />Emergency Communication Center (ACRECC). This was further extended from July 1, 2017 <br />and continuing to June 30, 2022. <br />WHEREAS, it is beneficial to continue the agreement in order to provide increased <br />public safety through the participation in a regional emergency communication system. <br />WHEREAS, at a regular meeting on June 21, 2022, staff presented to the City Council <br />the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Alameda County Fire Department with a <br />term from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1: Adopt a resolution to authorize the City Manager to sign the five-year <br />agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Alameda County Fire Department. <br />SECTION 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on June 21, 2022. <br />I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br />foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on June 21, <br />2022, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Councilmembers Arkin, Balch <br />Noes: <br />None <br />Absent: <br />None <br />Abstain: <br />None <br />AP>�V�4r&gren, <br />FORM: <br />Daniel G.
