Forecasted Transfer and Transport Cost. Forecasted Transfer and Transport cost <br />= (Transfer and Transport Costs per Ton for the then-current Rate Period) x (1 + <br />Annual Percentage Change in the CPI-U) x (total Tons of Discarded Materials <br />Collected for the most-recently completed 12-month period). <br />3. Forecasted Disposal Cost. The average of the Disposal Cost per Ton (which <br />includes per-Ton Disposal fees, per-Ton environmental fees, and per-Ton <br />government fees) for the then-current Rate Period and the Disposal Cost per Ton <br />for the coming Rate Period is multiplied by the total Tons of Solid Waste Disposed <br />in the most-recently completed 12-month period. <br />4. Forecasted Net Recyclables Processing Cost. Forecasted Net Recyclables <br />Processing cost = (Net Recyclables Processing Costs per Ton for the then-current <br />Rate Period) x (1 + Annual Percentage Change in the CPI-U) x (total Tons of <br />Recyclable Materials Collected for the most-recently completed 12-month <br />period). <br />5. Forecasted Net Organic Materials Processing Cost. Forecasted Net Organic <br />Materials Processing cost = (Net Organic Materials Processing cost per Ton for the <br />then-current Rate Period) x (1 + Annual Percentage Change in the CPI-U) x (total <br />Tons of Organic Materials Collected for the most-recently completed 12-month <br />period). <br />6. Forecasted Net Construction and Demolition Debris Processing Cost. Forecasted <br />Net Construction and Demolition Debris Processing cost = (Net Construction and <br />Demolition Debris Processing cost per Ton for the then-current Rate Period) x (1 <br />+ Annual Percentage Change in the CPI-U) x (total Tons of Construction and <br />Demolition Debris Collected for the most-recently completed 12-month period). <br />7. Interest Expense. Interest Expense is $593,723 for Rate Period Seven. <br />8. Lease Costs. Lease Costs for Rate Period Seven will be determined by by (i) <br />multiplying the allowed Lease costs for most-recently completed Rate Period by <br />one plus the Annual Percentage Change in CPI-U, and (ii) multiplying the result of <br />step one by 1 plus the Annual Percentage Change in CPI-U. <br />9. Landfill Maintenance and Closure Costs. Landfill Maintenance and Closure Costs <br />for Rate Period 7 shall mean the amount to which Contractor is entitled for Rate <br />Period Six pursuant to the terms of the “Agreement Approving an Expenditure of <br />Funds to Close Former Landfill between the City and the Contractor” dated <br />October 7, 1986 and attached as Exhibit O.
