Logos: Where UCCE and City of Pleasanton logos are used on any signage or <br />documentation arising from this partnership, the logos of each party will be <br />of equal size. <br />c. Privacy Information: All parties shall endeavor to hold any personal <br />information received in the course of this project confidential, to the greatest <br />extent permitted by UC policy and applicable federal and state statutes. <br />d. Non -Discrimination: The University of California, and its UC Agriculture <br />and Natural Resources prohibits discrimination against or harassment of any <br />person in any of its programs or activities on the basis of race, color, national <br />origin, religion, sex, gender, gender expression, gender identity, pregnancy <br />(which includes pregnancy, childbirth, and medical conditions related to <br />pregnancy or childbirth), physical or mental disability, medical condition <br />(cancer -related or genetic characteristics), genetic information (including <br />family medical history), ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, <br />citizenship, status as a U.S. veteran. <br />e. Modification: This MOU may be modified or amended with the written <br />approval of both parties, provided that the party proposing a modification or <br />amendment submits the same in writing to the other party at least sixty (60) <br />days in advance to allow for negotiation of said proposal. <br />f. Dispute Resolution: Should any conflict arise as the result of this MOU, <br />UCCE Director and the City Manager or designee of the City of Pleasanton <br />shall meet to resolve the conflict. <br />g. Term: This MOU is to commence on the date of latest signature below and <br />continue for five (5) years thereafter. At the end of the period, this MOU may <br />be reissued for another five (5) year period upon the signature of a written <br />amendment to this MOU by both parties. <br />h. Termination: This MOU shall take effect upon the date of the last signature <br />below and shall remain in effect unless terminated by either party, for any <br />reason, with ninety (90) days advance written notice. <br />i. COVID-19. Programs and activities conducted under the scope of this MOU <br />will be provided either virtually or in-person, in accordance with the strictest <br />guidance and restrictions from local health authorities and the University <br />regarding COVID-19 public safety practices to ensure safe delivery for <br />participants and educators, as further described in the attached Exhibit B, <br />"COVID-19 Measures," which is hereby incorporated by reference. <br />j. Electronic Signatures: This MOU maybe executed by electronic signature(s) <br />and transmitted either by facsimile or in a portable document format ("PDF") <br />version by email and such electronic signature(s) shall be deemed as original <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />
