Regional Collaboration • Support efforts to collaborate with regional partners on legislative issues where there is alignment with the City's Legislative Framework. For example, regional partners may include Valley Link, Pleasanton Unified School District, Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, Zone 7, East Bay Regional Park District, StopWaste, Alameda County, etc. The Subcommittee reviewed numerous bills and is recommending adoption of positions on the 79 bills as shown in Attachment 2 and the summary overview provided in Table 1. During the staff presentation, key bills will be highlighted from each focus area which staff will be actively working with our advocacy firm this legislative session providing comments and suggested amendments to the bill author and various legislative committees.
