Neighborhood Meeting Summary—Meadowlark Trail, CIP No. 22797
March 2, 2022
Page 2
19.Concerns that the City is moving forward with the trail project without addressing the
existing site issues — parking, traffic, congestion, etc. Don't add new problems without
solving the existing problems.
20.The open space should just be open space and not include any other amenities for the
public, such as the trail.
21.Two of the meeting attendees felt that having a trail at Meadowlark was better than
having housing or something else and supported the construction of the trail. One
meeting attendee was neutral. All other attendees were opposed to the trail.
There were approx. 30 residents that attended the meeting. Although the meeting was regarding
the alignment of the trail, no attendees provided input on the alignment and instead voiced their
opinion on whether or not there should be a trail.
