The construction administration provided thus far has included preparation of multiple conformed documents, onsite meetings with the contractor, redesign of the EV charger area to accommodate an ADA path of travel, redesign of access to 252 Main Street, redesign of grading adjacent to 260 and 288 Main Street, design of crosswalk at Abbie Street exhibits to address contractor RFIs, review of submittals, and coordination with subconsultants for RFIs and submittals as appropriate. Additionally, as you are aware, the area of Civil Park was added to the limit of work, which has resulted in both Civil and Landscape plan updates. Beyond the budgets being requested herein, and to support the City to rectify and clarify Bid Documents, HMH has performed roughly $35,000 of work for which the City will not be billed. Please see below for additional detail: 193 Civic Park Improvements.:;; HMH has prepared modifications to the landscape architecture and grading and drainage plan sets to include Civil Park within the limit of work. Plan modifications include regrading of the Civic Park area, utility conduit layout to serve the future monument at the intersection of Main Street and Bernal Avenue, updated irrigation and planting plans. 94 Construction Administration 2 HMH shall continue to review shop drawings and submittals which are required by the project specifications for general conformance with the Consultant's design concept and general compliance with the contract documents, if required. Prepare design modifications for approval by the City when required by unanticipated field conditions or to clarify the intent of the plans and specifications. Make occasional field reviews to assist City in observing the performance of the work and placement of materials to determine if the work is in general conformance to the requirements of the plans and specifications.
