Resolution No. 22-1285 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> WHEREAS, additional funding will be needed for the one-time development costs for <br /> new buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, to achieve the needed expansion level will take a significant investment of <br /> new resources; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are anticipated increases in Federal and in State resources dedicated <br /> to expanding affordable housing and ending homelessness; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is still a significant gap that will need to be filled locally; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to receive future funding made available through the County, Cities <br /> must endorse the Home Together 2026 plan and subsequently adopt their own Action Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton endorses the Home <br /> Together 2026 Implementation Plan as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton acknowledges that to receive <br /> future funding made available through the County they must align grants, programs, and <br /> services must be consistent with the Home Together 2026 Plan framework. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on April 19, 2022. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 19th day <br /> of April 2022, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> e yn Kw y Clerk <br /> Il <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: Jo g, <br /> Daniel G.
