Summary of citizen participation process/Efforts made to broaden citizen participation <br /> Summarize citizen participation process and how it impacted goal-setting <br /> The City maintains(in collaboration with our neighbor cities of Livermore and Dublin) an on-going data <br /> base of approximately 250 nonprofit agencies and other parties that have expressed an interest in the <br /> Housing and Human Services Grant(HHSG) program (which serves as the local umbrella program for <br /> allocating federal CDBG and HOME funds). The City held one joint virtual application workshop via <br /> Zoom in collaboration with the cities of Livermore and Dublin on December 9, 2021. Notices regarding <br /> the workshops were emailed directly to agencies and persons in the aforementioned database, and <br /> notices were also published in the key local newspapers and on city websites prior to the workshop. At <br /> the virtual workshop, staff from each city discussed all aspects of the HHSG program, including city- <br /> specific policies and procedures. <br /> HHSG applicants attended virtual public meetings via Zoom before either the Pleasanton Human <br /> Services Commission (March 2, 2022) or the Pleasanton Housing Commission (March 17, 2022)for <br /> funding consideration and recommendation. The Commissions considered the applications and <br /> formulated funding recommendations for consideration by the Pleasanton City Council.The funding <br /> recommendations were reviewed for approval by the Pleasanton City Council in a public hearing on May <br /> 3, 2022,at which time the FY 2022/2023 Action Plan was also approved for submittal to HUD. All City <br /> Council meeting was noticed in the Valley Times, a newspaper of general circulation. Alameda County <br /> also published notices regarding the overall Action Plan (which includes all entitlement cities and the <br /> urban county) in ANG newspapers throughout the County. Copies of the draft Action Plan were <br /> provided to the main Library and City Hall in Pleasanton as well as on the City's website for public <br /> review. A 30-day public review period to solicit public comments on the Draft FY 2022/2023 Action Plan, <br /> was coordinated by Alameda County HOME Consortium from April 15th through May 14th, 2022. <br /> No public comments were received. <br /> DRAFT Annual Action Plan 15 <br /> 2021 <br /> OMB Control No:2506-0117(exp.09/30/2021) <br />
