CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 424 <br /> <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 245 (Business Licenses), <br /> AS AMENDED, TO DELETE PALMISTRY, TEA READING, <br /> CHARACTER READING, FORTUNE TELLING, CHARACTER <br /> READING PHRENOLOGY, AND CARD READING FROM <br /> LICENSE TAX PROVISIONS. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 245 (Business Licenses), as amended <br />is hereby further amended by changing Section 16.07 to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> ~'16.07 The respective license fees to be paid yearly <br /> unless otherwise specified shall be and the same are <br /> hereby fixed as set forth in the following schedule: <br /> <br /> Shooting gallery, $10.00 per day. <br /> Auto Court $20.00 for 4 units; $1.00 for each additional unit <br /> Pawn shops, jewelry only, $25.00. <br /> Pawn shops, general, $200.00. <br /> Carnival, $100.00 per day. <br /> Public dance hall, $25.00 per day. <br /> Auto Wrecking, $25.00 per year. <br /> Legal card table, $100.00 for one table; $20.00 for each <br /> additional table.?~ <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in ~The <br />Times", a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City <br />of Pleasanton, and shall be effective thirty days after adopting <br />date. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED and read on October 25, 1965. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED November 1, 1965, by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Harding and McWilliams <br /> NOES: Councilman Long <br /> <br /> ABSENT: Councilmen Bubics and Cairo. <br /> <br />ATTEST: (~N B.
