CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-059 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MODIFIED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR <br />USE OF CITIZEN'S OPTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM (COPS) <br />APPROPRIATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 3, 2004, the Chief of Police presented a staff report (SR <br />04:194) describing the recommendations for use of citizen's option for public safety program <br />(COPS) appropriation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby approved the recommendations for use of citizen's <br />option for public safety program (COPS) appropriation. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 3, 2004 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman and Mayor Pico <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Dawn G.
