CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-055 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM REFUSE <br />COLLECTION RATES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2004 THROUGH <br />MARCH 31, 2007 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. (Contractor) <br />have entered into an agreement for the exclusive collection, transportation and <br />disposal of dry garbage and refuse from the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in accordance with Section 9.20.090 of the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code, <br />rates for refuse services shall be set by a resolution approved by the City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />contractor shall conduct all billing related to construction, transportation, recycling <br />and disposal of said garbage and refuse in strict accordance with rates listed in such <br />Resolution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The fee schedule set forth in Resolution No. 00-079 is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The rates for the collection, transport and disposal of dry garbage and refuse from <br />the City of Pleasanton for Commercial Services, Residential Services and for <br />Transfer Station Services, are revised effective July 1, 2004 as outlined in Exhibit <br />A. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
