CITY OF PLEASANTON 5 <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> December 21, 2021 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Order N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced special meeting of the City Council from various remote <br /> locations to order at the hour of 6:00 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT — None. <br /> ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> 1. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS per Gov't Code §54956.8: <br /> Properties: 629-633 Main Street <br /> Agency negotiator: Brian Dolan, Interim City Manager, Pam Ott, Deputy City Manager, and <br /> Brian Wilson, Cushman & Wakefield <br /> Negotiating parties: Ronald Janes and Rory Janes <br /> Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment for purchase <br /> 2. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR per Gov't Code §54957.6: <br /> Agency representative: Brian Dolan, Debra Gill, and Art Hartinger <br /> Employee Organization: International Association of Firefighters Local 1974 <br /> ADJOURNMENT —The special meeting adjourned at 6:59 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced regular meeting of the City Council from various remote <br /> locations to order at the hour of 7:03 p.m. Councilmember Testa led the Pledge of Allegiance and <br /> provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Dan Sodergren advised there was no reportable action. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Councilmember Arkin pulled Item 3 from the consent calendar to be heard as the first item under Public <br /> Hearings and other Matters becoming Item 16. Mayor Brown advised the typical procedure is to hear it <br /> at the end of the agenda. <br />
