Thanks Michele - to my original question, how can I access the
information that the City has gathered and verify its
sources/legitimacy if I'm unable to attend one of the outreach
meetings?
If the City has done the research and due diligence, can you please
email it out rather than only share with a narrow audience that'll
show up during the outreach meetings? I'm also curious as to what
% of the residents in the Muirwood community Park vicinity are
actually asking for a Cricket ground?
Can you please share the details via email - I'm assuming this is a
legitimate request under the Brown Act. Please let me know if
you're unable to share information via email and why.
Thanks
Parijat
On Friday, February 4, 2022, 2:35 PM, Michele Crose
<mcroseo4cilyof2leasantonca_gov> wrote:
Parijat,
Thank you for your feedback. I have saved it and will
share it with the City Council.
Just to help clarify some of your comments below:
• Creation of a cricket pitch will still allow for other
groups like soccer to continue to use the space
as well.
• A youth cricket organization that has majority
Pleasanton children will be allowed access to the
field so that it serves our community members
• Staff have measured how far a cricket ball will
travel and have determined that it is not feasible
for it to reach the sidewalk, street or further.
Staff has additional information on all of these topics
and more that will be shared at the outreach meetings
and with City Council at a meeting date to be
determined.
