• Housing Element Test-fit Studies: The draft standards will be evaluated and <br /> tested on up to six sites to determine realistic unit yield, while taking into account <br /> the physical limitations of the study site. The analysis will include massing <br /> models and data inclusive of unit yield, feasible density, and lot coverage. <br /> • Revisions to Coordinate with the Final Housing Element Sites: The draft objective <br /> design standards would be amended to accommodate the additional housing <br /> sites selected by the 6th Cycle Housing Element Update process: <br /> VMWP is the professional services firm working on this effort, and staff believes that its <br /> qualifications and understanding of the project make it the best qualified firm to <br /> undertake the proposed scope of work. <br /> Staff believes the above additional work items are essential to completion of the <br /> objective design standards and to ensure that the additional Housing Element sites are <br /> incorporated into the objective design standards.
