GROWTH MANAGEMENT REPORT The City's Growth Management Ordinance manages the number of residential units that are approved or entitled each year. A Growth Management Report was presented to the City Council on October 15, 2013, determining the annual unit allocation commencing July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2022 —this annual allocation is 235 units, consistent with the City's RHNA (Regional Housing Need Allocation). On February 3, 2015, the City Council further amended Pleasanton Municipal Code Chapter 17.36 to ensure the Growth Management Ordinance does not include constraints that would prevent the City from meeting its share of the regional housing need for all income levels during the Housing Element planning period and stated the City's intention to have the City Manager regularly report on efforts to meet goals of the Growth Management Ordinance. In 2021, the City approved a total of five (5) new Growth Management Allocations, associated with entitlements/planning approvals issued for five single-family home units.' Approved and entitled units are also included in the new standardized tables required by HCD within Table Al and the APR. It should be noted an additional 17 Accessory Dwelling Units were also approved in 2021 — these units are exempt from the Growth Management Allocation requirements.
