EXHIBIT "A" <br /> DESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 39, LYNNEWOOD ANNEX <br /> All that certain real property situated in the Township of Pleasanton, <br /> County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the southwesterly right-of- <br /> way line of State Highway IV Ala 680, formerly State Highway IV Ala 1073, commonly <br /> known as Foothill Road, 50 feet in width, with the general northerly boundary <br /> line of that certain territory annexed to the City Of Pleasanton under Ordinance <br /> No. 354, adopted January 21, 1963, a map of which was filed February 28, 1963, in <br /> Map Book 43, at page 3A thereof, Records of Alameda County, California, said <br /> angle point being also the southeasterly corner of that certain parcel of land, <br /> designated Parcel 1, conveyed by Edwin W. Carter, and Esther C. Carter, his wife, <br /> to Reginald Ray Stuart, and Grace D. Stuart, his wife, by deed dated February 24, <br /> 1958 and recorded February 26, 1958, in Book 8605 of Official Records at page <br /> 353 thereof, Records of Alameda County, California, and running thence in a <br /> general westerly direction along said general northerly boundary line to an inter- <br /> section thereof with the westerly line of that certain parcel of land, designated <br /> Parcel I, conveyed by Edwin W. Carter, a married man, to Reginald R. Stuart and <br /> Grace D. Stuart, his wife, as joint tenants by deed dated February 17, 1955, and <br /> recorded March 4, 1955, in Book 7587 Official Records at Page 71 thereof, Records <br /> of Alameda County, California, thence northerly along said westerly line to an <br /> intersection thereof with the northwesterly line of last said parcel; thence <br /> northeasterly along said northwesterly line to an intersection thereof with the <br /> northeasterly line of last said parcel; thence southeasterly along said north- <br /> easterly line to an intersection thereof with the northwesterly line of the <br /> 3-19-65 <br />
