CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 410 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> • CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED <br /> AS ANNEXATION NO. 39, LYNNEWOOD ANNEX, TO <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. • <br /> The City Council does hereby ordain as follows : <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following <br /> findings: (a) On March 22, 1965, the Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton did pass and adopt Amended Resolution No. 65-53 giving <br /> notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to <br /> the City of Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexa- <br /> tion No. 39, Lynnewood Avenue, and did describe the boundaries of <br /> the territory proposed to be annexed. <br /> (b) Said Amended Resolution No. 65-53 contained a <br /> notice of the time and place for the Council of the City of Plea° <br /> santon to hear protests made by any person owning real property <br /> within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said . <br /> hearing was not less then fifteen nor more than sixty days from th> <br /> date of passage of the Amended Resolution. <br /> (c) On May 3, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the <br /> Council Chambers at the lumen's Club Building, Southwest corner <br /> of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of Pleasanton, County <br /> of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did conduct <br /> a public hearing and pass upon protests made, there being none. <br /> By Resolution No. 65-80 the City Council determined that protests <br /> had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the <br /> privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the <br /> last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half <br /> of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be <br /> annexed as determined by said legislative body. <br /> - 1 - <br />
