CITY COt~ClL, CITY OF PLEASANTON AIJd~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDLNANCE NO. 409 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AE~JC~TION OF CER~ ~DFSABITED TERRITORY, DESICNATED AS AN~FJ~ATION NO. 38, STANLEY BOULEVARD ANNEX '~", TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON The City Council does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following findings: (a) On Narch 22, 1965, the Council of the City of Pleasanton did pass and adopt Amended Kesolu~ion No. 65-52 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Pleasanton. Said territor~ was designated as Annexa- tion No. 38, S~anley Boulevard, Annex ,~,, and did describe the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed. (b) Said Amended Resolution No. 65-52 contained a notice of the time and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said hearing was not less than fifteen nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of the Amended ~esolution. (c) On Hay 3, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 P.H., in the Council Chambers at the Wornants Club Building, Southwest comer of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did conduct a public hearing and pass upo~ protests made, there being none. By Resolution No. 65-79 the City Council determined that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the pri- vately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body.
