So adding a large multi-dwelling unit of <br />around 250 apartments is going to dramatically increase the traffic and noise level and create a bigger bottleneck than it <br />already is. This would also require some road expansions and more traffic lights, and create noise and more pollution at <br />least for some of the neighboring properties, in addition to being costly to the city. <br />Currently the property has perfectly good buildings for the school district, a pre-school, and a nice field that is used by <br />many families from the neighboring communities, and removing them will be costly to both the city and the communities, <br />in addition to changing the topography of the area and taking away part of the identity of this part of town.
