5 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> iTun-tel - CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> February 1, 2022 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE <br /> OF $160,103 OF ALTAMONT OPEN SPACE FUNDS FOR CONSULTING <br /> SERVICES WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY RESOURCE CONSERVATION <br /> DISTRICT FOR PRIORITIZING LAND-ACQUISITION BASED ON WILDLIFE <br /> PRESENCE/ACTIVITY AND HABITAT CONNECTIVITY ADJACENT TO <br /> INTERSTATE 580 AND DETERMINING THE EXPENDITURE IS <br /> CONSISTENT WITH THE ALTAMONT LANDFILL SETTLEMENT <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On December 9, 2021, the Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution concurring with <br /> the decision of the Altamont Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility Open Space <br /> Advisory Committee (Open Space Committee) to authorize expenditure of funds up to <br /> $160,103 for consulting services with the Alameda County Resource Conservation <br /> District (RCD) for Phase II of a project entitled, "Prioritizing Land-Acquisition Based on <br /> Wildlife Presence/Activity and Habitat Connectivity Adjacent to 1-580," as described in <br /> the scope of work letter included as Attachment 2. Pursuant to the Altamont Landfill <br /> Settlement Agreement, concurrence by each of the Committee's member jurisdictions <br /> that the expenditure is consistent with the Settlement Agreement is required. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the attached Resolution accepting the Open Space Committee's <br /> recommendation to determine the expenditure of up to $160,103 of Altamont Open <br /> Space Funds for consulting services to be performed by RCD is consistent with the <br /> Altamont Landfill Settlement Agreement. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no cost to the City of Pleasanton associated with this Resolution. Altamont <br /> Open Space funds will continue to cover the contract with RCD. <br />
