SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided Fc the Planning Commission
After Distribution of Packet
From: 12/15/2021 SR
To: Jennifer Haaen Date Distributed:
Subject: Draft Housing Sites Inventory Public Comments
Date: Thursday, December 9, 20214:33:31 PM
Please forward this message to the Planning Commission with my thoughts and concerns as
stated below:
The city, county and state should stop all new residential housing (building
new hoiusing)until it is scientifically proven their is enough water to sustain a
the growth of population inhabitating the new housing.
As it is now, with the drought and th ecoming years of more drought, locally
we are gettng our water from the groundwater basin. The groundwater vasin
is drying up. It is not getting replenished. As it shrinks and subsides, so
does the surface level shrink and sink. This affects any and all structures
built on the surface above the groundwater basin. Once the Zone 7 wells
and the city wells dry up and the groundwater basin drys up. and the
surface level shrinks and sinks and becomes uninhabitable there will be no
homes, people or city.
No water - No growth.
Michael Grossman
Click !mire to report this email as spam.
