e ill <br /> CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 405 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION <br /> NO. 37, GOLDEN EAGLE ANNEX, TO THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby ordain as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. FINDINGS. The City Council does hereby make the <br /> following findings : <br /> a) At Pleasanton, California, on December 14, 1964, <br /> the City Council did pass and adopt Resolution No. 3616 giving <br /> notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to <br /> the City of Pleasanton, designated and described as Annexation No. <br /> 37, Golden Eagle Annex. <br /> b) Said Resolution No. 3616 fixed the time and place <br /> for hearing of protest on a date not less then twenty days nor <br /> more than sixty days from the date of adoption of said Resolution. <br /> c) At said time and place, being 8:00 p.m. , February <br /> 1, 1965, at City Hall, Pleasanton, California, there were no <br /> protests filed or made. By Resolution No. 65-19, adopted February <br /> 1, 1965, the Council declared that no majority protest was made. <br /> d) Said territory is contiguous to the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda. <br /> SECTION 2. ANNEXATION. The Council of the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton does hereby approve the annexation of said territory to the <br /> City of Pleasanton, and does ordain that the said territory be <br /> and is hereby annexed to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Said territory situated in the Township of Pleasanton, <br /> County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly <br /> described as follows : <br /> (SEE EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF) <br /> - 1 - <br />
