Green Stormwater Infrastructure Plan <br />Emissions reduction City Cost $0 <br />Co-benefits Community Cost $0 <br />To further support on-site stormwater management (Action E17) and <br />sustainable infrastructure (Actions P3 and P11), the City will participate <br />and support regional Green Stormwater Infrastructure Planning <br />efforts that build off and support the City’s NPDES permit to ensure a <br />sustainable approach for managing stormwater runoff. <br />The plan may include the following: <br />•Replace traditional grey infrastructure with bioretention areas, <br />green roofs, permeable pavement, and rainwater catchment. <br />•Explore retrofit opportunities and integration of green <br />infrastructure into existing and new City facilities. <br />•Incorporate green infrastructure and stormwater management into <br />infrastructure projects. <br />•Ensure future infrastructure and retrofits are adequately sized to <br />be able to handle future flows and storms exacerbated by climate <br />change.
