■ Required the shopping center to participate in mitigation measures identified by <br />the City to offset the anticipated traffic impacts of the 1-680Mest Las Positas <br />Boulevard freeway interchange not getting built. <br />® Defined the maximum height for all new shopping center buildings as that of the <br />highest building existing at the time of the First Amendment, which is 68 feet. <br />■ Permitted parking decks up to a maximum height of three levels above grade. <br />Identified traffic improvements to nearby intersections that could be required by <br />the City's Traffic Engineer to mitigate the impact of the additional floor area on <br />traffic operations. <br />On June 18, 2013, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2073 approving the Second <br />Amendment to the DA to allow for an additional five-year extension of the term of the <br />DA until December 2017. <br />On August 21, 2018, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2173 approving the Third <br />Amendment to the DA to allow for an additional five-year extension of the term of the <br />DA until December 2022. <br />SITE AND AREA DESCRIPTION <br />The Stoneridge Shopping Center is located on an oval-shaped property defined entirely <br />by Stoneridge Mall Road. Figure 1, below, shows the Stoneridge Shopping Center and <br />portions of the 1-580 and 1-680 freeways and Foothill Road. <br />The properties surrounding the mall are located between Stoneridge Mall Road and the <br />1-580 1-680 freeways, Stoneridge Drive, and Foothill Road and are developed with a <br />variety of office, hotel, medical, restaurant, and retail uses, including the recently <br />approved 1 Ox Genomics campus, the first phase of which is under construction. <br />3 <br />
