CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-047 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF CASE PAP-63, THEREBY <br />APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MIKE SZEREDY/PEOPLESOFT, FOR <br />SIGN DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PSDR-182 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mike Szeredy/PeopleSofi has applied for sign design review approval to change <br />the wording of the existing monument sign facing 1-580 from "Hacienda" to <br />"PeopleSoft" and to modify the monument base of the sign located at <br />4500 PeopleSoft Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development - <br /> Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 12, 2004, the Planning Commission, after having considered <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of City staff <br />concerning this application, approved the application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, an appeal to the <br /> decision of the Planning Commission was submitted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 15, 2004, the City Council received a report from the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development, together with a copy of the <br />staff report to the Planning Commission, regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing on June 15, 2004, at which time the <br />applicant and any other member of the public was oft~red an opportunity to <br />present evidence regarding this appeal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after a review of the materials presented, the City Council determined that the <br />proposed sign design review, as conditioned, is appropriate and is consistent with <br />the zoning regulations for the zoning district of the property. <br /> <br /> <br />
