CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 04-047 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF CASE PAP-63, THEREBY APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MIKE SZEREDY/PEOPLESOFT, FOR SIGN DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PSDR-182 WHEREAS, Mike Szeredy/PeopleSofi has applied for sign design review approval to change the wording of the existing monument sign facing 1-580 from "Hacienda" to "PeopleSoft" and to modify the monument base of the sign located at 4500 PeopleSoft Parkway; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development - Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 12, 2004, the Planning Commission, after having considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of City staff concerning this application, approved the application; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, an appeal to the decision of the Planning Commission was submitted; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 15, 2004, the City Council received a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development, together with a copy of the staff report to the Planning Commission, regarding this matter; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 15, 2004, at which time the applicant and any other member of the public was oft~red an opportunity to present evidence regarding this appeal; and WHEREAS, after a review of the materials presented, the City Council determined that the proposed sign design review, as conditioned, is appropriate and is consistent with the zoning regulations for the zoning district of the property.
