MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Councilmember Arkin requested a resolution in support of Afghan refugees and noted some of the nearby cities have passed similar resolutions. The dais unanimously supported the request. Councilmember Balch requested staff provide status reports on Pleasanton's business and residential support programs that are currently in place including fund balances. City Manager Fialho agreed to provide a memo to City Council. Councilmember Testa expressed support. COUNCIL REPORTS Councilmember Balch reported attendance at the Tri-Valley virtual City Council meeting and joint meeting of the City Council and PUSD. Councilmember Arkin reported attendance at the Tri-Valley virtual City Council meeting, the Livermore- Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVMWA) meeting, joint meeting of the Pleasanton City Council and PUSD, and the League of California Cities conference. Councilmember Narum reported Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) purchased 16 buses. She reported attendance at the Finance committee meeting and the joint meeting of the Pleasanton City Council and PUSD. Councilmember Testa reported attendance at the Tri-Valley virtual City Council meeting, the joint meeting of the Pleasanton City Council and PUSD, LAVMWA meeting, and the League of California Cities conference. Mayor Brown reported presenting the Pleasanton State of the City. She reported attendance at the Alameda County Transportation Commission and TV 30 Board meeting. Mayor Brown expressed condolences to the family of former Councilmember and Mayor Bob Butler. ADJOURNMENT — There being no further business, Councilmember Narum adjourned the meeting at 10:58 p.m. with a tribute to men and women serving in the military honoring the memories of those who have died in defense of our country.
