This proposal does not include ground surveys for these
segments, however it does include photo coverage and aerial mapping.

TASK 1.1 – ESTABLISH SURVEY CONTROL
LCC will coordinate with the Client and the City to verify limits of mapping and
schedule. LCC will establish control points in order to perform field surveys as
described in this proposal utilizing RTK GPS or Total Station Equipment (whichever
is determined to be more efficient based on field conditions), based on Control
monuments of record provided by the Client. Should the client not have a
preference of coordinate systems, or no control data available, we will use NGS
Published GPS Contra Costa County control monuments of record (based on CCS
Zone III, NAD83, with NAVD 88 elevations).

Semi-permanent survey control points (magnetic nails in pavement areas or scribed
“+” in concrete surface) will be spaced evenly along the length of the project to be
used by the Client or future Contractor for construction.

TASK 1.2 – AERIAL SURVEY AND MAPPING
For all areas within the “cyan” limits shown on the Google Earth Image attached
for the pipeline areas:

LCC will perform an aerial topographic survey as described above and as shown on
the google earth files provided to the client (see .kmz file). Aerial Planimetric
mapping will be performed as shown on the files at 1”=40’ scale mapping with 1-ft
contours.
