ATTACHMENT #1 FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF PLEASANTON This Fourth Amendment to Agreement("Fourth Amendment") is made by the County of Alameda("County") and City of Pleasanton, ("Contractor")with respect to that certain agreement entered by them on June 6, 2017, as amended by the First Amendment dated October 10, 2019, by the Second Amendment dated April 30,2020, and by the Third Amendment dated May 3, 2021 (collectively referred to herein as the "Agreement")pursuant to which Contractor provides operation and maintenance services to the sewer and water systems in the Castlewood County Service Area of the County. County and Contractor agree as follows: 1. For valuable consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, County and Contractor agree to amend the Agreement in the following respects: 2. Except as otherwise stated in this Fourth Amendment, the terms and provisions of this Fourth Amendment will be effective as of the date of this Fourth Amendment is executed by the County("Effective Date"). 3. The term of the Agreement is currently scheduled to expire on December 31, 2021. As of the Effective Date, and notwithstanding Section 35 of the Agreement, the term of the Agreement is extended for an additional three(3)months through March 31, 2022, which is the last and final extension of the Agreement. 4. In consideration for Contractor's services as defined in Exhibit A of the Agreement,the County shall pay Contractor an additional amount not to exceed One Hundred and Fifty Thousand dollars ($150,000).
