M I G
EXHIBIT A
memo oer <eley
to Matt Gruber
City Landscape Architect
City of Pleasanton, Pleasanton, CA
from Richard Larson, Director LA QA/QC
re City of Pleasanton
Scope of Work and Budget Estimate
Additional Services — Master Plan for Lions Wayside & Delucchi Parks
Project Located along First St., between West Angela St. & the Parking Lot in the RR Corridor
date 11/04/2021
SUMMARY PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
This portion of the project represents the final stage of the Master Plan for Lions
Wayside & Delucchi Parks: bringing the Master Plan to regulatory agencies (the
ACE Interagency meeting), the Parks & Recreation Commission, and the City
Council.
MIG will facilitate coordinating the goals of the abovementioned agencies,
commission, and council, and incorporating elements that will meet those goals
into the Master Plan, with the goal of creating a Master Plan that can be
approved by these groups. This work will be done in coordination with the work
of the firm Balance Hydrologics, and their preparation of a Basis of Design report
for planned improvements to Kottinger Creek within the two parks.
We expect that the remainder of the Master Plan phase of the project, and its
related work, will occur throughout six of the approximately eight months of this
proposal. We expect the work will include meetings, project management, and
administration, and assume that the work will be sequential (example: we
assume that project work related to the presentation to the Parks & Recreation
Commission will follow the Interagency meeting, and will precede work related to
presentation to the City Council).
This scope of services and budget estimate describes work for that portion of the
project that we anticipate will occur over the eight months starting approximately
in the beginning of November 2021, and lasting through June 2022.
MIG will coordinate with City of Pleasanton Staff to complete the Project Tasks
shown in the attached summary of scope of services (the Proposed Additional
Landscape Architectural Services 11/04/21).
P L A N N I N G I D E S I G N I C O M M U N I C A T I O N S I M A N A G E M E N T I S C I E N C E I T E C H N O L O G Y
800 Hearst Avenue • Berkeley, CA 94710 • USA • 510-845-7549 • FAX 510-845-8750 • www.migcom.com
Offices in: California • Colorado • New York • Oregon • Texas • Washington
