RESOLUTION NO. 21-1260 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE REGARDING APPLICATION FEES FOR SENATE BILL 9 APPLICATIONS WHEREAS, on September 16, 2021, Senate Bill 9 amended Section 66452.6 of the Government Code and added Government Code Sections 65852.21 and 66411.7, changing the requirements for additional housing units on properties within a single-family zone and for parcel map approval of an urban lot split; and WHEREAS, City Council policy includes a requirement that applicants shall submit the applicable permit application fee established by City Council resolution; and WHEREAS, the City now wishes to establish an application fee of $1,948 for Planning Division review of Housing Developments, and fees of $590 and a $2,951 base fee plus $35 for each lot for Planning Division and Engineering Department review of Urban Lot Splits, respectively; and WHEREAS, staff has determined these fees are reasonable based on an estimate of anticipated staff time necessary to process Housing Developments and Urban Lot Splits in a timely manner, and the proposed fees are consistent with the fees for processing of similar applications. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Section II (B) of the Master Fee Schedule is amended to incorporate a Planning Division application fee for Housing Developments and Urban Lot Splits and Section III (C) of the Master Fee Schedule is amended to incorporate an Engineering Department application fee for Urban Lot Splits, as provided in Exhibit A. SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective 60 days after its adoption. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
