CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-038 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON VACATING AN EXCESS PORTION OF THE EXISTING <br />BERNAL AVENUE, A PART OF BONDE RANCH TRACT NO. 6483, PARCEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1993, Parcel N of Tract 6483 was dedicated to the City of Pleasanton for right <br /> of way purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Parcel N was intended for potentially widening Bemal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City does not intend to widen Bemal Avenue, Parcel N has not been used as a <br />street and is not intended for that purpose, and no property access will be <br />terminated by vacating Parcel N; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, vacating Parcel N is consistent with the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />From and after the date that this resolution is recorded with the Alameda County <br />Recorder's office, the property described in the attached Exhibit "A" and depicted <br />on the attached Exhibit "B" is vacated and no longer constitutes a street or public <br />right of way. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
