<br /> DESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON

<br /> ANNEXATION NO. 56
<br />
<br /> All that certain real property situated in the Township of Pleasanton,
<br />County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows:
<br />
<br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the general northwesterly boundary line
<br />
<br />of that certain territory annexed to the City of Pleasanton under Ordinance No. 486,
<br />a map of which was filed on July 13, 1967, in Map Book 51, at page 65, Records of
<br />Alameda County, California, with the general westerly boundary line of that certain
<br />territory annexed to the City of Pleasanton under Ordinance No. 379, a map of which
<br />was filed on March 5, 1964, in Map Book 43, at page 40-A, Records of Alameda County,
<br />California; running thence northwesterly, northerly, easterly, northerly, westerly
<br />and northerly along said general westerly boundary line to the most northerly angle
<br />point of said boundary line on the westerly right-of-way of County Road No. 1528,
<br />commonly known as Santa Rita Road, 66.00 feet in width; thence leaving said angle
<br />point northerly along said westerly right-of-way line and along the direct production
<br />northerly thereof to an intersection of said production with the general northerly
<br />right-of-way line of State Highway 04 ALA 580, formerly State Highway IV ALA 5-B,
<br />last said right-of-way line also being the general southerly line of that certain
<br />parcel of land described in that certain Amended Judgment entitled, "UNITED STATES
<br />OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, v. 3396 acres of land, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties,"
<br />et al, Defendants, IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE UNITED STATES IN AND FOR THE NORTHERN
<br />DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA SOUTHERN DIVISION, Civil No. 22352-R, a certified copy of
<br />which was recorded June 8, 1945, in Book 4721 of Official Records at page 14
<br />(SS 36105), Records of Alameda County, California; thence in a general westerly
<br />direction along the general northerly right-of-way line of said State Highway
<br />04 ALA 580 as said right-of-way line was established by those certain recorded
<br />instruments as follows: the southerly line of said Amended Judgment; the northerly
<br />line of that certain parcel of land designated as "PARCEL 1" in that certain
<br />recorded document entitled, "STREET OR HIGHWAY AGREEMENT" between the SOUTHERN
<br />PACIFIC COMPANY, a corporation of the State of Delaware, and its Lessor, the
<br />
<br />SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, a corporation of the States of California, Arizona,
<br />and New Mexico, and the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its Department of
<br />Public Works, a copy of which was recorded June 16, 1952, in Book 6755 of Official
<br />
