ta <br /> Lot 3 — Farmhouse Style Home <br /> • 4 <br /> M � <br /> Street Improvements, Tree Removal, and Landscape <br /> The proposed development would dedicate a 13-foot-wide strip of land parallel to the property <br /> fronting Diamond Court for required street improvements (street widening, curb/gutter and <br /> sidewalk installation on the north side of Diamond Court at the project site). As such, the <br /> project would result in the removal of existing trees on the north side of Diamond Court for <br /> right-of-way widening, and construction of curb/gutter and sidewalk. <br /> An arborist report was prepared by HortScience in January 2021 . The report surveyed a total <br /> of 41 trees, both on and off-site. The proposed development would result in the removal of 21 <br /> trees, including 14 trees that are along the north side of Diamond Court. Trees to be removed <br /> are: <br /> • Evergreen ash: 8 <br /> • Blackwood acacia: 7 <br /> • Coast live oaks: 3 <br /> • Valley oaks: 2 <br /> • California black walnut: 1 <br /> • Pecan: 1 <br /> One of the evergreen ashes to be removed is a heritage sized tree. Figure 6 is the Tree <br /> Assessment Plan from the HortiScience report.
