ATTACHMENT <br />THIRD AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT CITY ATTORNEY <br />This Third Amendment to Employment Contract City Attorney (Third <br />Amendment) is made and entered into November 2, 2021, between the City of <br />Pleasanton and Daniel Sodergren. <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Sodergren has served as Pleasanton's City Attorney since <br />2016 pursuant to an Employment Contract City Attorney dated April 19, 2016, as <br />amended by the First Amendment dated April 19, 2017 and Second Amendment dated <br />August 20, 2019 (collectively the Contract); and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed his performance, and <br />evaluated the legal counsel that he has provided to achieve City Council Work Plan <br />Priorities, as well as his handling of litigation and day to day legal issues facing the City. <br />His performance was considered in relation to his experience, achievements, and a <br />salary survey of other Bay Area city attorneys; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises expressed in this <br />Third Amendment, the parties agree as follows: <br />A. Section 3. Compensation of the Contract is amended to provide that the monthly <br />salary shall be $21,000 effective as of the date of this Third Amendment. <br />B.
