ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21-1241 <br />WHEREAS, on September 21, 2021, City Council adopted Resolution No. 21-1241, <br />amending the Downtown Specific Plan (DSP) such that tenant spaces subject to the Active <br />Ground Floor Use Overlay (AGFUO) include only active uses, and more specifically, text related <br />to the definition of active ground floor use and policies LD -P.17, LD -P.18, and LD -P.19 of the <br />Land Use and Design chapter of the DSP be clarified; and <br />WHEREAS, the Resolution No. 21-1241 was accompanied by Ordinance No. 2222, <br />which amended sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code (PMC) regarding the AGFUO; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2222 indicated that it would take effect 30 days after its <br />passage and adoption, but Resolution No. 21-1241 specified that it would become effective 60 <br />days upon its passage and adoption; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has now assigned a number to the resolution and ordinance; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Resolution is to make the effective dates for Resolution <br />No. 21-1241 and Ordinance No. 2222 the same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Section 3 of Resolution No. 21-1241 is amended to read: <br />This resolution shall become effective on the same date as Ordinance No. 2222 takes <br />effect. <br />SECTION 2.
